I haven&#39;t been to a neurologist in years because I hated my last one, and have had a bad track record with them, so I was just putting it off.  But finally
bit the bullet and made the appointment.

			<title><![CDATA[ Trileptal once a day--just wondering something... ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve been on trileptal (monotherapy) for something like 6 years now.  When it was initially prescribed, the dosage was halved and I was meant to take it
twice daily.  The neuro explained the reasons and so forth, how it metabolizes too quickly in people etc. etc.  Well, when the dose was brought up to
therapeutic levels, I just couldn&#39;t handle the side effects.  I decided to do the one thing you are told never to do.  I began taking both doses at night,

My wife, Susan is epileptic.  She has had a single seizure in 1985, then regular seizures since about 1999.  Initially they were 2 or 3 Grand Mal a year,
almost always at night.  All she knew about it was a headache in the morning, often a bitten tongue, feeling a bit groggy for a few days and maybe some sore
